We are all born with certain character traits, inherited from our parents and hardwired in our DNA. These traits are heavily refined within the first seven years after birth by our environment; and then to a lessor degree throughout the rest of our lives.
Our character traits form the lens through which we interpret and react to every situation.
Over time, these reactions become our behaviour and also heavily influence our habits.
Behaviour is rated as the single biggest contributor to work performance. It also explains why certain people perform well and others don't, even though they were all exposed to the same environment.
